Aghoris or Aghora Sadhus are known to be one of the most mysterious sects of Sadhus. Their bodies are smeared with age, rage writ large on their faces.

Story revolves around when Subraiya Iyer also known as Subu visits Kotisurya village to meet Aghori or Aghora Sadhus on the instruction of his guru. He Meets Rahasya who takes him in his journey and introduces him to Siddha Baba ji aka Maha Sidheshwar Aghori Baba, who was like a leader to Aghoris residing near Kotisurya village. Subbu, is not merely curious; he possesses a profound yearning to understand the Aghori. This deep-seated desire is the engine that propels the entire story and takes the reader to another world of imaginations.

The very first meeting had an unexpected event. There was a fire that hit the head. Subbu was told that he has to go through a three-step process for the activation to be initiated and complete, to get work done that he came for to visit Aghora Sadhus. He was visiting them in place of his guru, as the task given to Subbu by his guru — to have three mantras embedded within him and then transfer them. After initial activation Siddha baba then hands him over to Naryogi Baba who takes him after completing the second step to another Aghori for the final step — Hoodibhang Goonfa.

After Finishing 2nd step Naryogi baba takes Subu to Hoodibhang Goonfa where he meets Mahaghori Tadamba from Kaalika Sadhu sect along with him Patalnath baba. After finishing all 3 steps Subu along with Tadamba and Patalnath started their journey to Bhoogoomba Goopha to know more about Aghora Sadhus.

They started their journey from Haridwar to Bhoogoomba Goopha (Cave) in between they seeked blessings of Kundalini Goddess . While traveling through dandaka forest Subu got to know more about Seekhoodi bats and their reputation of attacking large mammals and about their fears of Kali or Shaligram, Serpents of dandaka forest also known as Jal Nag or Water Cobras. He also got to know about Eezhobai mushroom while still in the dandaka forest and about their medical perception.

When they reached kedarnath they met Sri Shivaghori Adbhootanand Baba who was meditating for 5000 years. Subu also finds out about Sookshma Tanaya and Colored Ash. And also while in the cave of kedarnath he was extremely gleeful by getting a glimpse of Lord Shiva.

After that they started their journey again to Bhoogoomba cave where he get to participate in Kushaandi Havan, and Jal-Agni-Jagruti ritual of Aghoris which was led by Rishi Bruhangnath. While participating in that ritual he got to know about Swas-Roki Keeda or Breath-holding worm. On the second day of staying at Bhoogoomba cave he got to know about Honsagloo woodpeckers and Shoonya Meditation. He even got to taste a unique pickle named Lonchaeku.

While still staying at the cave he got to know more about the living and lifestyle of Aghora sadhus. As well he got to learn about Dhoomketu baba who gave Brahma-Vatsa-Adrushya Shaligram- The divine stone to pass it to his guru and Sahasrara Udaan Technique, and with that his journey to Bhoogoomba cave ended there and he started his journey back to his Guru’s Math.
