As everyone knows, there is a set of laws that control how the entire universe is run. We call this law the Law of Karma. “ તમે જે કંઈ પણ કર્યું, તે ફળનો સ્વાદ ચાખ્યો. “ — “as you sow, so shall you reap” — is the guiding concept of this legislation.

You must understand the Law of Karma, which governs the entire universe, if you wish to live a happy life anywhere in the world. Karma is the term for every physical activity or deed you carry out with the help of your thoughts, from dawn to dusk, during the day and night, throughout the week, month, and year, and throughout your entire life, from conception to death.

All people and animals in the cosmos are subject to the timeless, universal law of karma. This legislation is flawless. Since the beginning of time, there has never been a single alteration to the law, and this will continue until the end of the universe. This law of karma does not have any exceptions.

As we endure the anguish brought on by our previous immoral actions, we should muster up enough patience, moral bravery, willpower, and complete faith in this commandment. Then, we should continue to perform pious acts with great zeal and complete faith in God.

Based on their three stages, all of these Karmas are separated into the following three categories:

Kriyaman Karma- A spontaneous activity in the present tense that immediately produces outcomes and a reaction at that precise moment.

Sanchit Karma- The action is completed, but it is not yet ripe enough to produce fruits right now or on the spot; it will require some time to ripen. These karmas are held in a pending state until the right moment arrives for them to ripen and bear fruit. They accumulate and stay in balance till then. These Sanchit karmas would not be neutralized till they were fruitified.

Prarabdha Karma- denotes those acts that are performed from the Sanchit karmas that have gathered and are now ripe and ready to bear fruit. They go by many names, including fate, fortune, luck, and destiny.

You won’t experience any reaction as long as you haven’t engaged in any Karma. Without a cause, no effect is possible. However, you must deal with the consequences of your actions once you have taken them. Therefore, you are free to consider the potential response or result before taking any kind of action.

Humans are endowed by God with both wisdom and high intelligence. According to the Law of Karma, people who abuse their intelligence and fail to use their wisdom risk suffering grave consequences.

Getting Moksha, or freedom from the cycle of birth and death, and securing oneness with God, from whom you are estranged, is the primary reason for having a human body. That is the one end goal and objective of human existence. However, as long as there remains even one Kriyaman, Sanchit, or Prarabdha karma left in your account, you will not be able to achieve Moksha. Therefore, in order to achieve Moksha, you should act and perform in such a delicate, skillful, and careful manner during your current lifetime that you will be able to successfully eliminate all of the Kriyaman, Sanchit, and Prarabha karmas before you pass away.

Throughout your life, you cannot stop or abstain from executing Kriyaman Karmas. Your life would be crippled and stranded if you stopped it. Therefore, the only way to escape challenging and contradictory situations and break free from the shackles of Kriyaman Karmas is to continue performing Kriyaman Karmas that can be fully enjoyed and used up in this lifetime alone, and that might not be balanced for accumulation as sanchit karmas for subsequent births. In order to avoid adding to the weight of Sanchit Karmas that must be taken into account for future births, the true secret is to do only those Kriyaman Karmas that will vanish quickly upon dispensing their appropriate consequences during this lifetime.
